- 2 large chicken breasts thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup about 60ml white vinegar (for those who include vinegar in their carnivore diet)
- 1 tsp salt or to taste
Marinate: Place the thinly sliced chicken breast in a bowl. Add the vinegar and 1 teaspoon of salt, ensuring the chicken slices are well-coated. Let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for a stronger flavor.
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare Chicken: Remove the chicken slices from the marinade and pat them dry with paper towels. The drier the chicken, the crispier the chips will be.
Bake: Arrange the chicken slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and begins to crisp around the edges. For added crispiness, you can flip the slices halfway through baking and sprinkle with a little extra salt if desired.
Cool: Allow the chicken chips to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes; they will continue to crisp up as they cool.
