- 1 tsp 5 ml sea salt, or to taste
- 1/2 tsp 2.5 ml black pepper (optional, for those who include spices)
- 1 cup 240 ml beef or venison broth (optional, for added moisture)
Season Venison: Rub the venison roast all over with sea salt and optional black pepper.
Prepare Slow Cooker: Place the seasoned venison roast in the slow cooker. If using, pour beef or venison broth around the roast to help keep it moist during cooking.
Slow Cook: Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the venison is tender enough to easily pull apart with a fork.
