Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the sautéed onion and garlic, shredded chicken, chopped broccoli, half of the cheese, milk, eggs, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Pour the chicken and broccoli mixture into the prebaked pie crust. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
Let the pie cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Tip:
For a lower carb option, you can omit the pie crust and bake the fi lling in a greased pie dish as a crustless pie. Ensure all added vegetables are cooked to remove excess moisture before adding them to the pie filling to prevent a soggy crust.
