Instructions
Prepare the Mozzarella Sticks:
Unwrap the mozzarella sticks and cut each in half to create 16 pieces.
Wrap with Bacon:
Take one slice of bacon and wrap it tightly around each mozzarella piece, ensuring the cheese is fully covered to prevent leakage during cooking.
Secure the ends with toothpicks if necessary.
Cook the Bacon-Wrapped Mozzarella:
o Pan-Frying Method:
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Place the bacon-wrapped mozzarella sticks in the skillet, seam side down.
Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is just starting to melt.
o Air Fryer Method:
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Place the bacon-wrapped mozzarella sticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook for 5-6 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.
Serve:
Remove the toothpicks, if used.
Serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier variation, consider using pepper jack cheese sticks or adding a sprinkle of red
pepper flakes before wrapping with bacon
