6 oz each, 1-inch thick

olive oil

sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Avocado Salsa:

avocados
diced

cup
cherry tomatoes
halved
1/4
red onion
finely diced

jalapeño
seeded and minced
1/4
cup
cilantro
chopped

tablespoons
lime juice

tablespoon
olive oil

teaspoon
salt
Instructions
For salsa, gently combine all ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.
Season tuna steaks with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil and sesame oil in a large skillet over high heat.
Sear tuna for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer for desired doneness.
Let tuna rest for 2 minutes, then slice.
Serve sliced tuna topped with avocado salsa.
