Ingredients
  

  • 1 Spicy Lemon-Garlic Shrimp Skewers
  • Olive oil for greasing
  • 1 lb medium shrimp peeled and deveined, tail on
  • 2 lemons halved and sliced
  • 1 T lemon zest
  • 1 T chili flakes
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 T fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Soak the wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes.
  • Heat the grill on medium heat, and grease with olive oil.
  • Thread the shrimp and halved lemon slices onto the wooden skewers.
  • Place the skewers in a single layer onto the grill.
  • Sprinkle the lemon zest, red chili flakes, and minced garlic on top.
  • Cook until the shrimp turns pink and the flesh is firm (about 4 minutes per side).
  • Place the shrimp skewers on a plate. Drizzle with lemon juice, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve.
