Mozzarella Sticks

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup finely ground almond flour
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 2 cups ground pork rinds
  • 1 t dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 16 oz mozzarella cheese cut into ½-inch thick sticks
  • ½ cup unsweetened marinara sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, combine the almond flour and garlic powder and mix well.
  • In another bowl, add the eggs.
  • In a third bowl, add the pork rinds and oregano and stir well. Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Roll the mozzarella sticks in the almond flour mixture, then dip in the eggs, and finally coat with the crushed pork rinds mixture.
  • Place each breaded cheese stick into the air fryer and cook at 400°F for 5 minutes. Let the mozzarella sticks cool for 2 to 3 minutes before serving.
