Ingredients
  

  • 4 4-oz boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth or bone broth
  • ½ cup lime juice
  • 2 garlic cloves chopped
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 1 T grass-fed butter
  • 1 t sea salt
  • 1 t black pepper
  • 1 lime sliced, for garnish
  • 1 T chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken breasts in a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker. Pour the chicken broth and lime juice over the chicken.
  • Add the garlic, thyme sprigs, butter, sea salt, and black pepper over the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours. Garnish with fresh lime slices and chopped parsley, if desired.
