- 4 cups about 950 ml beef or chicken bone broth, rich in collagen
- 1 lb about 450 g thinly sliced beef (such as sirloin or brisket) or chicken
- 2 large eggs soft-boiled and peeled
- Salt to taste
Preparing the Broth: In a large pot, bring the bone broth to a simmer over medium heat. Season with salt to your taste preferences.
Cooking the Protein: Add the thinly sliced beef or chicken to the simmering broth. Cook until just done; the beef should take about 1-2 minutes per side, and the chicken about 3-5 minutes, depending on thickness.
Soft-Boiling Eggs: In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Carefully add the eggs and cook for about 6-7 minutes for a soft-boiled consistency. Remove from hot water, cool in ice water, then peel.
Assembling the Ramen: Distribute the cooked meat evenly into serving bowls. Cut the soft-boiled eggs in half and place on top of the meat.
Serving: Pour the hot seasoned bone broth into each bowl, ensuring the meat and eggs are covered. Serve immediately
