- 3 medium sweet potatoes
- 3 medium carrots
- ¾ cup raw/lightly pasteurized milk
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1 tbsp. ginger minced/ground
- 2 tbsp. organic butter
- 2 tbsp. honey, raw
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 tbsp. black pepper
- 2 tbsp. cilantro, chopped
- 2 tbsp. green onions, chopped
1.) Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in large sauce pan. Add pinch of salt, black pepper, and 1 tbsp butter. Boil sweet potatoes for 10 minutes. Add carrots after 10 minutes. Boil for another 15-20.
2.) In separate mixing bowl add milk, 1 tbsp. butter, salt, pepper, honey, coconut oil, and ginger.
After 20-25 minutes boil add sweet potatoes and carrots to mixture. Mash with bean masher or fork. If you removed the skin from sweet
