Sure, you might add plenty of vegetables and fruits in your smoothie, but this can actually lead to insulin resistance, digestive issues, and, worse, a slow metabolism.

Blueberry, Strawberry Smoothie Recipe
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup organic, grass-fed milk (I use raw milk)
- 1 Tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 Tbsp. protein powder (Here’s the main one I use)
- 1/2 – 1 cup of ice, (optional if your fruit is not frozen)
1.) Add all ingredients to a Vitamix 5200 Pro, blend on “smoothie” setting, until smoothie consistency. Enjoy with your 2-year old (2-year old optional).
