Recipe for Peanut Butter, Banana, Protein Bars
* Makes 10-12 bars
- 3 very ripe bananas
- 1 cup peanut butter (I like this organic brand)
- 1/4 cup honey (this RAW honey is good)
- 2 cups oats (I use these for all my recipes)
- 2 Tbsp. protein powder (This is the least inflammatory protein powder)
- 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
Using a hand or standing mixer (I’ll take this mixer to the grave with me), mix the bananas, peanut butter, and honey until very smooth.
2.) Add oats, almonds, and protein powder and mix until well combined.
3.) Place mixture onto pan. Press and flatten with a spatula until evenly distributed.
4.) Bake at 350 for 25-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
5.) Allow to cool completely before cutting bars. Wrap in plastic and store.
