When most women think of detoxifying your body they think of spas, wraps, supplements, and epsom salt baths.

While these may help reduce reduce stress and make you feel good, the real detoxification magic happens when you optimize your organs.

What you need are healing foods that soothe and heal the gastrointestinal tract, reduce inflammation, balance blood sugar, support healthy gut bacteria, and help you have consistent bowel movements.

Not as “sexy” as spa treatments, but if you want to improve your outside, you need to focus on optimizing your insides.

Blueberries – These nutrient-dense fruits are high in fiber and antioxidants, which help heal your digestive tract, keep it functioning in peak condition and help reverse the aging process. Blueberries are also rich in manganese and vitamin C, which play important roles in energy metabolism and boosting immunity.

Coconut – An antiviral food, coconut contains medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which are good for metabolism and circulation.
